Amissah Arthur the former VP of Ghana has died. Arthur collapsed at the Airforce Gym this morning and was rushed to the hospital. He died shortly after. May his soul rest in peace.

The Federal Government Wednesday dismissed the Brookings  report  on Nigeria as the new global headquarters of poverty as it now has the highest number of poor persons in the world. Findings by the Brookings Institution, a non-profit public policy organization based in Washington, DC, America, published a week ago indicated that Nigeria has overtaken India as the country with the largest number of extreme poor in early 2018 with six persons becoming poor every minute. Four days after a major health scare,Micheal Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson has died. He died at age 89 on Wednesday (June 27) morning after a battle with cancer, according to TMZ .

Things are far from well between OAP Yaw and singer Runtown as the former has issued a warning to Runtown not to step foot in the Wazobia FM premises when promoting his music. On what led to this,Yaw during a live session on IG stated that Runtown disrespected him by not coming for a show he was invited to.

The Board of Punch Nigeria Limited has appointed Mrs Angela Olufunmilayo Emuwa (nee Aboderin), as its new Chairman. The appointment follows the demise of the Chairman of Punch Nigeria Limited, Mr Gbadebowale Wayne Aboderin, on May 30, 2018. The Board also appointed Mrs Valerie Omowunmi Tunde-Obe (nee Aboderin) as a non-executive director. Emuwa’s appointment took effect from Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has been granted an administrative bail after five days in DSS custody.   The Special Adviser to Abaribe on Media, Uche Awom, made this known in a statement released on Tuesday night in Abuja.
