Johnny Depp sues Amber Heard for $50m, reveals she cheated on him with Elon Musk

Johnny Depp has filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, alleging that her accusations of abuse against him have harmed his reputation.

In court papers obtained by The Blast, Depp says that Heard’s “false allegations” are nothing but “an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity” for her and to “advance her career.”

The lawsuit specifically cites a December 2018 Washington Post op-ed that Heard wrote on this topic.

“Ms. Heard purported to write from the perspective of ‘a public figure representing domestic abuse’ and claimed that she ‘felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out’ when she ‘spoke up against sexual violence,’” the court documents state.

"Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse, she is a perpetrator."

He claims he had to have his finger surgically re-attached after Heard allegedly threw a vodka bottle at him, for example.

Back in 2016, Depp and Heard settled their divorce with $7 million dollars granted to Heard - which she donated to charity. Depp’s lawyers are making it clear they do not believe Heard’s innocence as they’ve added claims that Heard was in a relationship with Tesla founder, Elon Musk, while still married to Depp.
