Many feared dead as 3-storey building housing a primary school collapses in Lagos

Many primary school pupils are feared dead after their school building collapsed on Wednesday.

According to reports, the school is situated in a three-storeyed building at Ita Faji, Lagos Island, with the school itself being on the last floor.

Prince Adams, who resides in the area, while speaking with newsmen said;

“It is terrible. Parents are crying. I can’t withstand the gorry sight,” he added.

The spokesperson for the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Kehinde Adebayo, who confirmed the sad incident said emergency officials were already on ground.
