Sony launches wearable body air conditioner

Japanese Company; Sony just introduced its new “Wearable Body Air Conditioner”. The new Sony Wearable Air Conditioner is of the same size as a SmartPhone, but smaller.
One of the best features of the Wearable Air Conditioner is that it has a Cooling and Warming feature, as it cools you down when you’re feeling hot and warms you up when you feel cold.

The wearable air conditioner tagged “Reon Pocket” comes with a special undershirt with a pocket at the base of the neck where you can slip in the Reon Pocket Air conditioner, connect the device to its app in your smartphone and then use the Bluetooth to power it on.
After getting it up and running with your smartphone’s Bluetooth, you can then select between cooling and heating feature; whichever suits the weather.
According to Sony, the Reon Pocket is capable of cooling a user’s body temperature by 13 degrees Celsius (23 degrees Fahrenheit) on hot days, and on hot days, it can raise a user’s temperature by about 8 degrees Celsius (about 14 degrees Fahrenheit).
Reon Pocket’s charge time is 2 hours, it uses USB-C charger and its battery lasts up to 24 hours. The wearable air conditioner iOS and Android operating system.
The Reon Pocket’s not noticeable when worn as its soo small and weighs a mere 85 grams (3 ounces).
The wearable body air conditioner comes in 2 types which are ‘Reon Pocket Standard and Reon Pocket Lite.
Reon Pocket Lite is cheaper than Reon Pocket Standard and it comes with manual mode operation. While the standard also lets you manually control the temperature via your smartphone. The Reon Pocket standard also lets you tweak the air volume and it also has a customizable “my mode.”
Unfortunately, the Reon Pocket is only available in Japan for now and the Prices range from 12,760 yen (~$117) to 19,030 yen (~$175), depending on the version and how many undershirts you want to buy with it.
According to Sony, the full production should be expected around March 2020
